DAY 25 - NAPOWRIMO 2011

Posted to Writers Island

Brenda at Beyond the Bozone set us a wordle using the following words: cheap, steal, tissue, tattoos, quenching, pinwheels, replenish, piquant, diminished, creep, eternal, sharp, squeeze

INDELLIBLE

Sharp shooter, standing by
to squeeze artistic trigger,
designed tattoos proclaiming
promise of eternal life.

…They didn’t steal the creep show.

They (just like those pinwheels
of responsibility)
diminished to a three-ply
tissue of lies, lies, lies.

Merely cheap, fast comfort food
served with a piquant relish.
No intent to replenish;
just to leave a raging thirst

…that knows no quenching drink

  1. Stan, This is great! Anything to keep them drinking... I love thre-ply tissue of lies, lies, lies. ha!

FYI I started a blog site where I'll post Sunday wordles even after this month.

Check it out. Of course, they'll still show up at the Bozone, too.

  2. Love how you used the wordle words to create a very vivid image with rather tasty almost tempting details. Great stuff,

  5. Good one, Stanski.
    "Merely cheap, fast comfort food
    served with a piquant relish..."
    It's the American way, eh?

Jinksy; They did take a bit of juggling.

  10. Great title - I like the idea of indelible ink in the tattoos, but also an indelible thirst at the end.
