For NAPOWRIMO 2011 Day 1 Posted to Writers Island and Big Tent Poetry THE BEGINNING OF THE END It's starting Just beginning When will it finish? Where will it end?
From start to finish From beginning to end It's starting to finish Beginning to end
And I want to be the kid in the back seat, asking, "Are we there, yet?" I know, I know. All things in their own time. I like your verse and the word play.
Love it. But I guess it will end with a sigh of regret that it's over. How's Elephant Small these days? I seem to remember a contribution or two from him last year.
Love the observation, and there was that touch of whimsy I so enjoy. First time reading you; found you at Writer's Island, where I am also doing my PAD for April. Here's mine: http://sharplittlepencil.wordpress.com/2011/04/01/the-man-who-became-an-island/ Your new friend, Amy Barlow Liberatore
