THE SAME NEG
I didn’t want today
To be the day I’d have to say
‘I didn’t want today’
I wanted yesterday
To last forever and a day
To never pass away
If I could take away today
I’d pay to re-live yesterday
The way it could have been today
The way it should have been today
The way it would have been today
If only I could say
I’d wanted yesterday to stay
As much as there’s no way
I want this day today
To be the day I have to say
‘I didn’t want today’
