GRUDGE
A pair of gutsy fighters
A bit of an argument
A scarlet sky at sunset
And a makeshift boxing ring
A crowd begin to gather
Expecting punches to flow
Hardly an A-list showdown
Just a routine village brawl
The first blow struck is gentle
No more than a soft caress
Not quite what you might expect
If your grasp on fights is good
No need to pluck up courage
He won’t come back from behind
This boy’s not really the type
To save his best till the last
A steady stream of punches
To the body and the head
A victory by knockout
With plenty of time to spare
Good description!
