HEARING HEARING DOUBLE

Spirit level, spray bottle, grinder and file
Split level, space shuttle, spider and fly
Listen… there’s an echo ((( echo )))
Tell me, tell me whywhy…

I’ll level with you
When flies start to catch spiders
Then it’s time to split
START THE SPACE SHUTTLE
Must be time to split
Spiders being caught by flies…!
Low level of wit…?

Or just a low level of volume…?
Because what I thought I heard you say
was that on a clear and sunny day
you can almost see my shadow
but much more often than not at all
I’m difficult to follow... follow?

What all of this means, to be exact
