NAPOWRIMO 2013 #15

HALF LIFE



Semi-autobiographical?
Mathematical half-true story?

Barring a few of the gory details
it never fails to grab our attention

And did I mention it's based on fact?
Though half is missing, to be exact

And no-one's guessing the reason why
It makes me cry, it's so frustrating!

And I'm not even exaggerating
I'm just debating the pros and cons
while the frozen ones start on their fast thaw

Relaxing their jaw to have their say
they offer a ray of clarity...

But everyone knows reality
can often be stranger than fiction

... as in this depiction of life

    At least instrumentals don't talk back.
    I like your piece. It quite reminds me of the front page of the supermarket tabloids. And sadly even the regular daily paper sometimes.
