Oughtn't be a distraction

Satisfaction is derived
(Not contrived) from taking part

Heart and soul, body and mind
Find their own way to express
Less or more, it makes no odds

Swallow hard... Soon be over...!

    Winning may not be important, but many of us still try to win anyway. Why is that?

    Oh my yes! I do get great satisfaction from taking part in the NaPo challenge, and meeting up with so many talented people around the globe. Like this poem very much, S tan! I have enjoyed reading your work, first thing every morning. A wonderful way to start my day! A heartfelt thank you!
