April is the month of NaPoWriMo 2010.
Writing from Thailand, my contributions
will come under the INTPO WRIMO banner.
For Three Word Wednesday
CAUSTIC, HUNCH, SACRIFICE
THE RIGHT ORDER
Must learn to prioritise
Get things in the right order
Write up a ‘Things To Do’ list
SACRIFICE preferences
Update, amend and edit
Don’t just rely on a HUNCH
Can’t count on second guesses
Far too much scope for mistakes
Back up the words with actions
Keep within the agenda
Target completion deadlines
Efficiency is the aim
Zealous in all endeavours
Perfection can be achieved
Applying CAUSTIC contempt
Just takes a little practice
Vacuous, inane standards?
Lack of organisation?
Heading for a disaster?
X’s in all these boxes
Yesterday’s hesitation
Impossible as it seems
Replaced by workable plan
Quality with confidence
Order Alphabetical?
Not necessarily so
organized chaos, that's what I think will work, it's impossible to get things in any right order
ReplyDeleteThanks Lissa; What is the right order anyway...?
ReplyDeleteWow Dad - don't you know your ABC?
ReplyDeleteThanks Changnoi; Apparently not!
ReplyDeleteis this how order is....
ReplyDeletewell
i will never know chaos from that order..
God bless you and your family
Thanks Inay; If it works for you...
ReplyDeleteBwahahaha! I love how the form of the poem speaks to its message. So much fun, and an excellent job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Thomma; You took it with the pinch of salt it was crying out for;
ReplyDeletePerhaps it's a kind of CAUSTIC ACROSTIC...
Love it! Very clever, and must have been fun to write!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carina; It was - Did I get all the letters of the Alphabet in...?
ReplyDeleteThat was very entertaining.
ReplyDeleteThanks Angel; I'm glad you didn't take it too seriously.
ReplyDeleteI'm exhausted just reading it all!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ann; Sounds like you DID take it seriously!
ReplyDeleteHey, good stuff. I wondered at first what was with the cap letters, then I got it. Fun, fun, fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks Thom; Doing things in Alphabetical order isn't always the right approach.
ReplyDeleteIf we were to put it into alphabetical order it would truly turn into chaos...at least I think so. Have you tried it to see what it would look and sound like? I love to play with words.
ReplyDeleteThanks B; I tried it and... strangely... it made perfect sense to me...!
ReplyDeleteLove the shufflebet! Happy Napowrimo!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Andy; just done a 5 song shuffle to offer to NaPoWriMo.
ReplyDelete"Who put the alphabet in alphabetical order?" - They Might Be Giants
ReplyDeleteA question on a children's album, but, not a childish question. Your order is as valid as any, but it just doesn't fit into that little rhyme we all learned in kindergarten. If it were Stan Ski that put the alphabet in alphabetical order, we'd need a new tune. :-)
Organization within the disorganization, very clever and a lot of fun!
Thanks Jay; ABC doesn't work for everyone. The Thai alphabet, for instance, starts with 'ก', which is 'K' in english.
ReplyDeletei love that we have the opportunity to change every day... learning reassessing.... all in the name of poetical alphabet... good stuff stanski.... having fun yet??!! day 2 napowrimo monster moves
ReplyDeleteThanks Pieceofpie; The fun is just beginning!
ReplyDeleteWhat a hugely impressive write!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tumblewords. It's what Management Training does to you...
