For Carry On Tuesday
'Everyone is born with some special talent.'

TALENT

Everyone is born
Blessed with some special talent
Everyone but me...

  1. Not all special talents are easily labelled! Some are unconventional! This blog is a unique representation of "hands across the water", almost creating a new culture! That is a special talent!

  2. Everyone is talented including you and I. But it's easy to recognise others' talents than our own.

  3. This quote could have led anywhere! Such as 'what is the difference between a talent and a gift?'As for me, I've no idea!

  4. Thanks to:
Nalini; Or maybe I should just stop feeling sorry for myself.
GT; And that is a special compliment.
Sandy; Am I selling myself short?
Ariel; And some are just more talented than others. Perhaps the last line should read 'Some more than others'.

  8. I agree with Sandy C, your talents are considerable. Loved reading your post about the book that changed everything too.

Glad you've joined in at OSI.

  11. I look forward to visiting you, seeing what you've shared. I enjoy this place. Would say, "Stop that," but someone already has. Take care.

  12. Thanks Melissa; The doors always open, and I think I'm over my lapse in confidence.

  13. I'm looking at that picture of your wife and children looking up at you. Those eyes are seeking your special talent--one that only you can give them--the fine love of a husband and father. That's a special gift on top of all your talents. Start there. I'm not trying to sermonize...well I guess I am. You asked for it.
