Thanks to: Titaxy; Penang is an island just off the north west coast of Malaysia. Ian; It's well worth a visit. Sylvia; It's also the tall one on the left, above. Changnoi; One day... Paula; I had some photo's and thought it would be a bit different to post Komtar.
IAN BIRO; I just checked through my comments again and spotted 'Guess Who?' for the first time. Clueless, I checked out your profile and I'm still none the (Danny) Wise-r. Is that your new 'Pen' name?
Great shot Stan. My photo was really taken from the hole that has the key before. It was not edited for I don't like editing my picture at all. Thanks for visiting me I do appreciate it much.
Thanks to: Kim; I'm impressed! Marcee; Easy on the eyes. Wil; Stands high above all around. Lorie; I'm with you on all points. Tumblewords; I think most would agree.
I never used to like modern architecture, but these huge tower blocks with their clean lines and multitude of windows, especially against a clean blue sky - well, they're quite beautiful, aren't they?
Are you visiting Malaysia? I went up the Komtar building, and my husband was very generous and treated us to a very delicous meal. I think he wanted to make up trip up the tower a memorable one.
amazing pics!
ReplyDeleteI think I'll pencil this one in my diary!

ReplyDeleteThanks Ann; I'm in Thailand, but have made several trips to Malaysia - though I've only visited Penang - the last being in 2006.
ReplyDeleteI like it. It's not too oppressive on the skyline.
ReplyDeleteOn behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you!
Thanks Roger; It's a baby compared to the Petronas twins in KL.
