NAPOWRIMO 2013 #21

DON'T ASK

No promise of shelter from
the bomb you detonated

The infidels you hated
will always struggle to thrive
unless they learn to survive

Due diligence hardens them
Resilience guards their aim

They must fight around the clock
against those who wish to shock
until you've shipped all your stock

...And your land is a spent force

  1. Good wordle. Couldn't be much further from a prose poem, though: such rhyme, such rhythm.

    1. Okay, here's mine then - Promise me you will shelter against the bomb, when infidels fire one. Resilience is time well spent, no matter what, the drugs will be shipped.Hearts harden to shock us, they want their land to thrive and ours to struggle.

  15. I was listening to a radio show about Boston...
Too much brainwashing of youth, wasted instead of reaching for hope.

Was swordplay kinder? At least you saw who you were fighting - most of the time.
