DECISIONS

For Friday Flash 55

DUNC THE DRUNK

Duncan
was thinking
out loud again.
“What should I do
with that money I found?
It’s a toss-up between either
one of those brand new, cutting edge,
state of the art, all singing, all dancing
mobile telephones, with multi-dimensional, space and time travel,
and… disregarding technical innovations… blowing the lot down the pub!”

  2. Thanks Titanium; He'll have to think long and hard... probably over a beer or three.

  5. Thanks to:
G-Man; He'd have to pass too many pubs looking.

  10. I love how the phone is "all singing" and "all dancing".
    LOL.

Clearly I have the simple cheap model with no sense of rhythm at all.
    Drat.

  13. Thanks Moondustwriter; It would take something like that to tempt me.

  15. Let me know, what Duncan decides. You can find me at the pub, washing dishes and the floor, I seem to have misplaced some money ...

  16. Thanks Lorenzo; How much did you lose?

  17. Well, since I don't use phones but maybe once a month, and since it's been so darned hot here...the pub sounds better to me.

My 55 is Here As always scroll down below my Friday Show N Tell. Have a great weekend!!!

  18. Thanks Hootin' Anni; I don't blame you.

  19. The phone would last longer...but the coolness & smoothness of a good beer hits the spot!

  20. If he could stick to one beer, by the time he had one there would be a newer, cheaper model out.

  21. my vote is for the pub conversations are some much better face to face! Nice writing!

  22. Ooh a makeover! And so its a phone or a legless evening down a pub. Clearly been away from England too long. Hammer Horror for me today. My 55

  25. Thanks to;
Lulda; But has he got anyone to call?
13th; I'd by one pint, and with the phone, keep travelling back to it.
Alice; And he wouldn't even have to leave the pub to buy it...
Showme; With this phone no one would ever be long-distance.
John; Maybe, but the beer here has the same effect.
Vodka; That's just the type of logic I would have expected from you :)
Nessa; We were just waiting for you to arrive - it's your round.
