TIME TRAVEL

For Writers Island prompt #17

RELATIVITY

The story of my life… so far

Still just forty six years old

Seen fifty eight, spanning

Two Millennia

Three Centuries

Eight Decades

Question…

How?

  9. Thanks to:
Weasel; Easy - time travel... :)
    Wayne; Answer below:
    ViV;How and Why...? See below.

    Born 1964 - now 2010. Makes me 46 - covers 47 years. In Thailand, it's 2553 - arrived 2543. Just over 10 years ago - span of 11.
    47+11=58.
    40's to 10's = 8 decades.
    3 centuries = 20th, 21st (Gregorian) and 26th. (Buddhist)

  16. Sorry Stan, you always pull me in with the poem, then throw the math question in there and I end up with a blank expression and wonder how I got here, lol. It's always travel, time, place, at your site. Thanks again,

  19. This was a fascinating riddle Stan, and I would never have arrived at the solution -- I was leaning on the term "relative", envisioning you as a direct extension of your parents, continued immediately through children...

  21. It's a good question... but shouldn't you really ask, Why? Or doesn't that sound so good? Nic
