My suggestion for these weeks American Sentence was:

We aim to use traditional manufacturing techniques.
A dedicated workforce of highly skilled craftsmen is standing by.
The result will be a complete range of World-Class, quality products.

NANO AMERICO^
Tradition is our aim.
A dedicated workforce of highly skilled craftsmen is standing by.
Quality is the result.

WALLS + WIRES

CONSIDER THIS

May I suggest combining NaiSaiKu with THE AMERICAN SANDWICH?
Invite entries for the disciplines under the heading, ‘TUESDAY CHOICE’.
A one-stop-shop for awareness and encouragement of ALL aspects.

To complement the theme, you could also consider HAIKU entries.

‘TUESDAY CHOICE’.
AMERICAN SANDWICH, NaiSaiKu, AND HAIKU, ALL under one roof.
Why not?

THE AMERICAN SANDWICH, NaiSaiKu, AND HAIKU in ‘TUESDAY CHOICE’.
Together under one roof.
It’s only a suggestion, but it may just help to raise awareness.

AND FINALLY… JUST IN CASE YOU’RE STILL HUNGRY

Here’s a sentence that contains the word ‘AND’, five times consecutively.
I saw a sign that read ‘JONESANDSONS’, and realised something was wrong.
There should have been two clear spaces; between JONES and AND, and AND and Sons.

  1. Hi Stan, Brilliant! I think we used to call it 'Pool Yards' and if I remember rightly there was a couple of different versions of it. I went past number three the other day and they still have the '8 ball' sticker in the cellar window. So as not to confuse anybody I should point out that the 'crack' should be spelt craic ~ that is unless you know something I don't! Good idea about combining the challenges, but I think we'd have to publicise it a lot more, as we're only reaching a small readership at the moment. Thanks for posting so much... Andy

  2. Hey Stan, just a point, I think 'We aim to use etc...' should read 'We aim to utilise...'

I'm going to use your sentence: We aim to utilise traditional manufacturing techniques. as the tuesday prompt.

    Many thanks for submitting it.
