Nice Haiku and picture. I always though rice grew in water but that doesn't look so wet? Maybe if we saw more of the picture. Interesting, thanks for sharing this.
Good quality rice is grown in flooded paddy fields. Other rice is grown basically in mud. Here the rice has been harvested and the grain is being separated and bagged for use/sale. The actual rice fields are behind me.
