Half Life

For THE AMERICAN SANDWICH

Which reminds me - thanks for tea Andy!!

HALF LIFE
She paces her semi-detached bedroom, rocking her head back and forth.
Half her life, rocking; she's trodden a well worn path on her bedroom floor.
It started with country lanes, in another life; another half-life.

  1. Hi Stan, you're welcome to come over any time, you know that.

Wow, thanks for playing along with The American Sandwich game. This is a bit of a haunting piece, I can see her rocking her head back and forth in that room, a prisoner of her own making, perhaps.

  2. Thanks Andy; Perhaps you're right...Or is it old habits?? Imagine her out for long walks in the country, nodding her head to the beat from her ipod? Or was it a transistor radio with an ear plug?
