For The Sunday Whirl: Seemed, Insistent, Clench, Rapid, Burst,
Rustle, Rare, Hurl, Through, Spacious, Spasm, Enigma
MASTER, CHEF...?
Seemed insistent; 'There and Then'
Clench those fists and count to ten
Rapid burst of gaseous flare
Rustle up a steak, grilled rare
Hurl the plate through spacious hall
In a spasm, hit the wall
Stooge? Enigma? Who can say?
Don't rub him up the wrong way
Difficult to combine rage, rhyme and toe-tapping rhythm - all while including wordle words - yet you have done it all! Terrific :)
ReplyDeleteThanks PKP :)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of one of those TV chefs that helps others - tough love in the kitchen. Do it right or don't do it at all. Fun to read.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to both of my contributions this week.
Happy Holly Daze!
When my dad went hunting, every year, there was a rule. If you complained about the food, you cooked the next meal. Your poem reminds me of that because all the hunters were male and few of them cooked, if ever. You, however, cooked up a great tale from these wordle words. Hope your holidays are filled with love and laughter,

ReplyDeleteGood tale here--and by the way that is a really amazing background photo you have of the elephant (or I think it is an elephant). Happy holiday to you and yours. I almost gave up commenting because your word verification thing kept rejecting my attempts!
